From Tina: We will be reading the relatively short and fast-paced book, The Art Thief, by Michael Finkel. It is timely given the recent heist at the Louvre. While it is only tangentially related to the classics, it seems fitting as it addresses topics such as the love of history, determining the value of art and artifacts, the desire to collect, and the unlikely journeys of relics from the past. It is available in paperback and Overdrive eAudiobook from most libraries. We will meet Thursday, January 29, 7-8 pm on Google Meet.  A link will be  sent out in an eblast to everyone a week before the meeting and again on that evening . All are welcome.
