CT COLT is hosting a full-day institute dedicated to deepening our understanding and application of the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages, or the “5Cs”. This in-person gathering provides a space for language educators to engage in meaningful discussions, explore best practices, and collaborate with colleagues.

The day will begin with an overview of language proficiency and the 5Cs, setting the stage for targeted breakout sessions where participants can dive deeper into specific standards. In the afternoon, educators will participate in affinity group discussions, selecting from a range of topics that address diverse instructional needs. This FREE professional learning workshop is sponsored by the CT State Department of Education and CT COLT.
